The first season of Teen Mom 2 began airing on MTV on January 11, 2011 and concluded on March 29, 2011. Before the series began, MTV aired a special titled Catching Up with 16 and Pregnant: The Girls of Teen Mom 2 which aired on December 28, 2010.
